SpaceOps | Digital Health Innovation
Developed through the BiteLabs Digital Health, AI and Innovation Fellowship, SpaceOps is an operational intelligence layer for multi-site dental practices.
I’m interested in how we translate healthcare needs into useful products, evaluate AI responsibly and make sound decisions when technology meets human complexity.
My professional background is in dentistry. I’m now developing my work at the intersection of healthtech, responsible AI, product development and digital clinical safety.
Through the BiteLabs UK Digital Health, AI & Innovation Fellowship and ongoing study in AI governance and clinical safety, I’m building a practical understanding of how healthcare technology is designed, evaluated and safely deployed.
I’m interested in the relationship between technology, ethics, safety and human needs, and in bringing curiosity, evidence and human judgement to the questions that arise when technology meets real healthcare settings.
How do we know whether an AI tool is useful and safe in healthcare? I want to understand how evaluation, governance and accountability can work in everyday practice.
How do real healthcare needs become well-designed products? This covers user needs, requirements, human factors and the clinical safety thinking that should shape a product from the start.
What might we overlook when technology meets human complexity? I’m drawn to where human judgement stays essential, who benefits from new tools, and how technology can support earlier, preventive care.

Learning how trustworthy AI principles translate into practical approaches to governance, evaluation and accountability in healthcare settings where safety and public trust matter.
Developing my understanding of how risks associated with digital health technologies are identified, assessed and managed. Currently undertaking NHS Digital Academy clinical safety training.
Exploring how healthcare needs become useful, safe products, including user needs, product requirements, AI evaluation and human factors.
Longer pieces and notes on the questions I’m exploring in healthcare, AI, ethics and product development will be published here.
I’m open to professional opportunities, collaborations and conversations in healthtech, digital health, responsible AI and healthcare innovation.
